Casualties in a Series of Bombings in Damascus

Damascus (Qasioun) - Fifteen people were killed and dozens were injured on Monday evening in three separate explosions hit central Damascus, al-Midan district, local media reports said.


The media sources said that five policemen and ten civilians were killed as a result of the explosions. A car bomb exploded at the ‘Sidra’ checkpoint belonging to the regime forces in the neighborhood, followed by another explosion in the vicinity of the Zine al-Abidine mosque near the police station, followed by explosive belt detonation hit inside the police station.


Three car bombs exploded in several neighborhoods of the capital, Damascus, on July 2nd, resulting in the death and injury of many from the regime forces and civilians as well.
